1. The Seven Kickoff Service

At least 7 weeks before the first scheduled school assembly make plans for a Sunday night Kickoff Service.  This night will include students and leaders from all the churches participating in the Seven Project. The night schedule will be lots of vision, prayer, and insight into what the Seven Project is all about.  The churches will walk away with a fresh passion and a clear picture of what winning the schools in their community will look like.

1. City-Wide Vision Night

The Youth Alive team will invade your city’s youth services on a Wednesday night two weeks before the Seven Project day.  We will provide 4-5 Youth Alive team members to preach and cast vision for the Seven Project in the different student ministries hosting the Seven Project.

1. I Am Second / Youth Alive Training 

This is a Saturday morning from 9-Noon training that will equip your key leaders on how to start small groups and Bible clubs on their school campus.  Personal evangelism will also be taught as being an important role in the follow process once Seven Project is finished.

1. Sunday Morning Adult Recruiting 

The Youth Alive director will be available on a Sunday morning two weeks prior to the Seven Project Big Day.  The goal is to cast vision in a ten-minute window to recruit workers and money for the Seven Project.  An offering should be taken to help with the overall budget of Seven Project and sign up sheets ready to enroll those interested in helping with the outreach.

1. Prayer Rally  

This prayer gathering is for all churches involved with Seven Project.  We will walk the four corners of the school the night before the assemblies and Seven@Night service.  This one-hour prayer emphasis is about rallying the troops and preparing our hearts for the next day of outreach.  Our prayer is for God’s presence and favor to be with us as we present the Gospel to lost students.

The year is AD 404, and Susanna’s entire family has been chosen to entertain the wicked Roman emperor and a host of heathen. Within a few minutes Mom, Dad, little Jeremiah and Susanna will be dead.  The family has been given the opportunity to recant their faith in Christ.  “Deny Him and live,” they are told.

“Impossible,” they humbly respond, “He (Jesus) is everything to us.”

“Then you shall die as fools.  Prove to us how much your love for Jesus means!” Susanna is first.  Two brawny soldiers, clutching her tiny arms, hastily lead her away.  In a cold, dingy room a stinking lambskin is stitched to her clothing.  At a distance she has the appearance of a scared animal. Upon closer examination, she is more frightened than words can express.  Then she is led to the arena floor.  The crowd roars its approval.   Who can bear to watch the scene unfold? There she is, in a sprawling stadium, all alone.  Her parents turn their heads from the horror.  Thousands watch in earthly approval below while a heavenly host watches from above.  One waits above for her heavenly arrival.

The starving lions are released.  The ravenous beasts haven’t eaten for two days.  Within a second they spot their prey.  Suddenly, like a torrential rain, fear floods the heart of little Susanna.  THIS IS REAL!  I’M ALL ALONE. MOMMY AND DADDY ARE NOT HERE TO HELP ME.  I’M GOING TO BE EATEN BY THAT LION.  Tears begin to fall.  One of the animals begins to charge, and the little girl is no match.  Her right arm is ripped off as she tries to flee.  The pain is unlike anything she’s ever experienced.  The roaring of the crowd drowns out her cries for help.  She falls to the ground.  The other starving killers move in.  Like vises, their jaws clamp down.  Within minutes, it’s over.  Who’s next?  They call for little Jeremy.

Right off the heels of our 5th Together Training, Kyle shares some of the cool ideas that stemmed from some of the students and leaders during a brainstorm session.

A few guys gather to talk about the importance of network prayer.  Johnny, Paul, & Kyle, all from the Lewisville and Flower Mound area, meet up each week for prayer.  It’s just one hour on Thursday mornings, but makes a huge difference in the Kingdom of God.  These times have become a DO NOT miss for them, forging friendship that will last a life time between them and God.

Seriously – it all starts with the schools.  Show up & God will open doors.  Stuff will happen.
