Kyle Embry – Youth Alive Missionaries
Kyle and Janelle have been married since 1999. They are the proud parents of two of the cutest kids you will ever meet: Mallory and Tyson (aka T-Bone). They grew up alongside each other in Irving, Texas and are both graduates of Irving High School, as well as Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie.
A former youth pastor, Kyle has spoken to more than 100,000 junior and senior high school students in his travels across Texas. His passion and humor captures student’s attention while igniting dreams and confronting issues in their lives.
Kyle and Janelle are the faces of and provide leadership and vision for Youth Alive North Texas. Under their leadership, we have seen countless numbers of students come to Christ, while others have been discipled to reach their communities.
Jared Stump – Youth Alive Intern
Originally from Missouri, Jared grew up in the suburbs of Austin and Dallas. He is passionate about reaching and connecting with people through various forms of media.
Jared was recruited and joined the team in October of 2010 as a photographer for Seven Project events while still in high school. Since then, he has graduated and his job description has grown to include the areas of social media, marketing and administrative support.
A writer by trade, Jared brings a unique perspective and creative edge to Youth Alive. He is responsible for proofing and editing much of our written communication, and served as the Editor-in-Chief and Project Manager for our book on school outreach, Hidden in Plain Sight: America’s Unreached Mission Field, which was written with the help of 18 leaders from across the region.
Taylor Johnson – Youth Alive Intern
Taylor was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He has an incredible ability to connect with people through comedy’
Taylor joined the Youth Alive team at the beginning of 2015, joining the incredible team in leading students and connecting to students at Seven Projects throughout the year.
After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, Taylor began traveling as a stand up comedian. His first comedy album, Don’t Panic, was released on iTunes in 2012.
The Youth Alive team is a diverse group of professional speakers, entertainers, media guys and college students that changes from one semester to the next as new team members are added and old ones move on to greater things. Some stay with us for years, while others may only be with us for a semester. The team constantly changes, but our vision remains the same.
